This blog isn't a money making venture. Primarily it is a way to keep friends and family up-to-date and journal our life. Our followers are still our virtual and IRL friends and family and other expats. We've met lots of fantastic friends through this forum and welcome anyone who trips across this blog to reach out and say hello.
About us
We are a family of four, Joel, Stacey, our boys, and our rescue cat, Kopi-o. We began our blog when we got married and chronicled our wedding and trip around Europe and then Stacey continued to write about our first expatriation from Vancouver, BC to San Francisco, California in 2007. The blog later followed us to Singapore in 2010 and then back across the globe to Los Angeles in 2013 and on to the San Francisco Bay Area again in 2014. We were always avid travelers but the past years put our suitcase living skills to the test. Although we're still technically expats, we're permanent residents, with plans to keep our adopted home base for a good while. We will keep blogging about our experiences travelling with our kids as well as little bumps in the road like global pandemics.
